MOVING PORTRAITS: An Exhibition of Video Portraiture by Media Artist Benton C Bainbridge, highlights the creative undertaking of Choreographer Henning Rübsam’s new work, And There Was Morning. And There Was Morning premiered at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College in New York City, November 2, 3, and 4, 2015. ccADaM presented Moving Portraits in the lobby of the Kaye Playhouse in conjunction with the performances.

While most museums are archival in nature, ccADaM aspires to cultivate the creation of new contemporary American dance by inspiring choreographers, composers, dance companies and performers to work toward new levels of cultural and artistic excellence in an immersive environment with the fine arts.

One of ccADaM’s principal goals is to garner support for contemporary American dance by documenting the creation of dance through the interpretive eye of the visual artist. ccADaM’s mission is to create a venue where the disciplines of contemporary American dance and art collaborate, create, and educate.

In keeping with ccADaM’s founding vision we invite you to experience And There Was Morning through the interpretive exhibition, Moving Portraits.

Moving Portraits could not have been realized without the hospitality and support of Hunter College, The Kaye Playhouse, and, their administration and staff.
