The Committee for the Contemporary American Dance Museum (ccADaM) has been formed by Founder, Alice Evelyn Stock to gather support and resources necessary for the creation of the future Contemporary American Dance Museum (cADaM). The future Contemporary American Dance Museum will be located in New York City, preferably at a historic site related to the arts, and will be chartered by the Board of Regents under the Education Law.

The Committee for the Contemporary American Dance Museum will work towards the establishment of a museum charter for the Contemporary American Dance Museum by putting its planned programs into practice. This will enable us to:

1.     build awareness of the future museum’s mission

2.     gain supporters and audience members/visitors

3.     build a database of audience members/supporters/donors

4.     create online collections of fine art and manuscript material that document American contemporary modern dances as they are being made
